Win10PE SE HomePage / Server certificate revocation
« on: December 17, 2017, 02:23:34 AM »

I try to use a program which needs the same Internet Explorer setting "Check for server certificate revocation" unchecked.

Is there a way to obtain this in Win10PE SE ?

Actually, it's not possible to use a mounted ISO as source, I need to copy the files into %Basedir%\source to work.

If it's not necessary, precious space have gone from my SSD...

« on: December 05, 2017, 01:55:52 AM »

With the last release, I obtain the message "Can not detect Windows10 source -You must select a folder with Windows 10 files in  Source Directory".

I use a Windows 10 ISO mounted as usual.

And after the error , the field "source directory" is filled with a wrong path (i.e. "C:\WINPE-SE\Source"  instead of the source I choose)

Is it better to build it with cumulative updates integrated (with NTlite) or the original windows 10 redstone 1?

Is threre a way to integrate AOMEI Backupper , the great data backup and recovery software. There is no portable version, I've to install it each time in Win10 PE to use it (it works perfectely!!)

Win8PE SE HomePage / Re: UEFI Bootable

With a WIN8PESE build with a Windows 8 64 bits OEM on a fat 32 usb key, I can boot on every Windows 8 OEM machine without searching in the UEFI options for the Secure BOOT, which is not always understandable .

You need to format your USB key with fat32 only because NTFS isn't supported by Microsoft with UEFI for booting. I think it should be said with the module to format the usb key which recommend NTFS File system.

Win8PE SE HomePage / Create a multiboot with Win8PE SE
« on: February 08, 2013, 01:07:46 AM »
When I build a WIN8PE SE based on Windows 8 x64 OEM or PRO as source, i put it into a fat32 formatted usb stick and  I've a "rescue" disk which can boot directly on OEM machines bypassing the SecureBoot in UEFI imposed by Microsoft (no menu choice at startup, but it works).

And now, I'd like to create a multiboot USB with all my favorites tools (pmagic, hiren's, windows installer..) at startup based on "this" WIN8PE SE.

So, on "old" or not "secure boot" machines, the menu will be displayed and on the others, WIN8PE SE will be forced.

I've find this link:

But it's tricky and confused for me.

Thank you for help

Yes it works with usb 2 without driver, but if you buy it, don't forget to update firmware to improve it. I use it with a SSD, a must have for computer repair.

A friend of mine has posted a test, but it's in french (I'm french)..

Each time I've been watched using it, I've been told such a smart tool ! So, if you don't know it, I use the ZALMAN VE-300 (VE-400 is coming), a 2.5” USB3.0 External HDD case able to: "VE300 supports Virtual ODD which can be used as CD-ROM, DVD, and Blu-ray Drive for convenient booting".

I always use it, ideal for us..

It appears that you are trying to use a resource that you are not permitted to access at: /Projects/ . If you entered that URL manually, please do not do it again. "

It it normal? Thanks

Win8PE SE HomePage / Problem with Double Driver
« on: January 09, 2013, 02:42:44 PM »
I use Double Driver 4.1 to list the installed drivers from an offline installation and it works fine with Win7PE SE and my "old" Mini Windows Xp from Hiren's boot cd. But with Win8PE SE, I can't save the list of founded drivers, when I click on "SAVE", nothing happens.

Yes this is the good driver. But could you tell me what's the better choice to include this driver : Driver Package Installer or Driver Integration ?

Win7PE SE HomePage / Re: The best resolution for LCD

Thanks for your answer.

I'd like to include this driver Intel GMA 3150 in WIN7 PE SE because this is my "Netbook for a technician" and I'd like to display the best resolution.

This driver is not included in Windows 7 SP1, also not present in, it must be downloaded from Intel (or SONY in my case, but not...) as a ZIP or EXE file with a complete structure for installation.

Do I need to build my WIN7PE SE(x86) from this netbook including original display driver or is there another way ?

Win7PE SE HomePage / The best resolution for LCD

Hi everyone,

I'd like to know how to get the best (max) resolution with WINPE SE. Do I need to integrate graphics drivers or is there another way ? For example, when I use it with my netbook (an "OLD" SONY VAIO VPCM13M1E with intel GMA 3150 and a resolution 1 024 x 600), I only have a resolution of 800 x 600 proposed.
