If you are using this on a new system, then you also probably have plenty of RAM. You could just opt to have all programs loaded to RAM and do away totally with running them from CD/iso image.

Yes, let's include as part of the default project. Otherwise by default a user can't easily check the changelog.
I can do this next week.

Is that plugin part of Gena Meal? I'll have to double check.
Personally, I actually like having the option on CampPE because it puts a number of helpful options in one place.

Too many to list. You can see the changelog here: http://gena.cwcodes.net/Projects/Gena/Utils/ChangeLog.Script
In terms of applications, some that are supplied with Gena also come with the SE projects. Those are now automatically kept in sync, meaning that all the SE updates get included in Gena as well.
On the CampPE plugin we have a "View project's changelog" button which make it easier to read. But I just discovered that that button isn't working. I'll need to look at that and fix it.

Gena ZIP packages available off the server have now been updated. This brings these files into line with the plugins available directly from the server and the MANY updates that have been made to the project since the last release.
Thanks to all who have continued to make contributions!

For some reason, the file attached to NIKZZZZ's post wasn't able to be downloaded. I am reattaching it here - hopefully it works.

I never got around to doing this. Thanks for putting this together for us all.

Great, glad it helps.

The Verification error is intentional - it alerts you to the fact that PEDialup requires either 'XPE - pnp multimedia' or 'Driver Import PE' plugins to be selected.
In checking up, I saw that the PENetwork plugin is renamed, so I've updated the plugin to reflect this. That was an existing bug.
As for the Access violation - that is a known WB bug and there is nothing we can do on our end. Please just ignore it.

Can you explain a little bit more what you are after?
« on: July 21, 2016, 03:17:32 PM »
Just to clarify. 1. ExtractAllFiles
This command is an internal WB command. As such, I do not think it can be overwritten or made to not work. I have no memory of any of us trying to disable it or not use it. In fact, I think we have kept using it throughout the life of the various projects. Whenever I have tested it, it has worked. Whenever I have checked, there has been working plugins that use the command.
I do not know why this was not working on your end JonF and then started working again. I can say that as far as I am aware, it was not because we disabled it and then reenabled it. As I said, I do not think this is possible, even if we wanted to (which we don't).2. The 7-Zip plugin and the Gena download ZIP package
Currently, if an end-user downloads the ZIP package from gena.cwcodes.net/Compressed they are downloading a package that was created on 2016.02.07. The date is listed on the download page. That means that if an end-user downloads the ZIP package, say on 18 July, it will be downloading the project as of the ZIP release date (i.e., 2016.02.07).
The ZIP package dated 2016.02.07 works if downloaded and run. Where a problem could well arise after that is if the project is updated using the WB Download Centre to get newer plugins and updates released after 2016.02.07. That part of WB is buggy and is not the recommended or supported way of updating the project. The only supported way of updating the project is to use either (a) the 'Utils\Update Gena' plugin developed exactly for this; or (b) using BlueLife's program blexactserver.exe stand-alone (which is actually what I do).
Hope this helps.

I really don't know what is happening for you.
I just tested ExtractAllFiles command. It is working for me. I also checked and saw that a reasonable number of Gena plugins use this command still. As far as I know and as far as my tests run, the command is still available and is functioning.
Regarding the log you posted, the command that has an error is an ExtractFile line. I tested and it runs fine for me. So I'm really confused. I do note that your version was version 48 and my one here is version 49. Whether that has got anything to do with it. It'd be worth downloading and trying.

I'm not sure why that error would be happening. We'll need a full log to see a bit more.
As far as I know, ExtractAllFiles is a WB internal command and is still working. It's available off the WB wand with the following syntax:

Thanks for the further explanation. It's a bit of a mystery to me.

Possibly it might be the comma causing an issue. Try with an escape character:
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,"Tmp_Default\Software\PWI#$c Inc.\Privatefirewall 7.0\GUI",Left,370

The %PE_Programs% variable is used for a path that will exist on the booted PE. %Target_Prog% is the variable to use for a path when building the PE.
