Thanks

Thanks a lot
Is it possible to change the file version of both GWT exe remained to

I had tried with AllowRefsFormatOverNonmirrorVolume but without more success.
In any case, on a freshly installed OS, it should work without any addition.
I re-try this morning a new win10 1709 enterprise install on VMware, I have the same result 0x00000057.
Not enough free time, I give up. ReFS is not for me.
Have you tried ReFS with 1709 Pro workstation or enterprise ?

Thanks Atari800xl for latest ADK.

I tried with enterprise productpolicy in PE with FileSystems-ReFs-Enabled, ReFS is now displayed

By cons, with windows 10 enterprise or WinPE 16299.15
I am unable to create a storage space or to format with Refs 3.3
create the pool > Create storage space > Simple > Can not delete the storage space. Error 0x00000057
Format /fs:refs > Failed to Initialize State of Underlying Data Structures 112 (Gtranslate)
same with explorer or diskpart

Also, I cannot open the event log. error 50
Eventlog service is running

The same things works carefree with 15063. I do not understand what's wrong
Super! on a fresh install without any change.

Thanks JFX
UUP Enterprise x64 download is in process to catch the Enterprise ProductPolicy, with ReFs Enabled.
Maybe you already have it JFX ?
Maybe good to enable ReFsV1 too, I Don't know.

There is no Image all done here
but you can build it yourself if you have a windows 10 ISO.

Yes, with 15063, it works fine but I do not have ReFS proposed with 16299.15 and Format /fs:ReFS does not work

I tested last night ReFS, there is no worries in Win10PE.
As it is and without registry addition, Volumes with an older ReFS version are not Upgraded and keep Read and Write ability.
By cons, a ReFS 3.3 volume (windows 1709) appears in Raw, in Win10PE 15063 which support ReFS 3.2 maxi.

Otherwise, I had no success with the previous registry keys for the optional creation or format ability in PE.

Only from some readings, nothing tested.
With ReFS 3.2,  it does not seem possible to read a 3.3 ReFS volume
So downgrade to ReFS 3.2 is not the way to go. A Windows 1709 with ReFS 3.3 volumes would be unreadable.
For the Creation, format ability, as written by s1ave77, we need to use, Win10 Pro Workstation or enterprise.
Perhaps the change can be ported in a Win10PE build with another edition (productpolicy?)

By cons, I wonder if there is a possibility (registry) not to Auto Upgrade volumes to 3.3
This would be a concern if, using a WinPE 1709 with ReFS 3.3, the host volumes were upgraded.
They would become unreadable then in the host OS.

The experimentation is in progress

Bonjour Momie0,

hmm, it works fine here too at first launch, but not the second time.
Once GlobalOptions.xml created in "%Appdata%\JAM Software\TreeSize Free"

Build 15063 and following need msIso.dll as new dependency in SysWoW64, for the GlobalOptions.xml.

I will continue to dream, for the nice sports car
To console me, I tell myself that the dream is probably the best time.

They will find one day but for now it seems they are still looking for the donate button :doh7:
They found my mail to ask for my permission and my adress to send me the magazine, a bit later. So, I keep a little hope.

At the same time, they are not the only, AOMEI did not find the button either for their PEBuilder2.0

Win10PE SE HomePage / Re: Any idea of how to add MTP Device Support?
« on: September 25, 2017, 05:56:51 AM »
In addition. Have you tried to integrate the original win10 MTP drivers.
by reading quickly wpdmtp.inf, it seems you need also:
...\Divers\WUDFRd.sys + WUDFRd service
Use "Driver Integration" plugin after copying the drivers in %GlobalTemplates%\Drivers_x64\

Not the choice to go slowly and keep some motivation after years.
I have to work too, and earn my living for my family.

The Win10 Network Flyout is a "modern" metro application. There is no support for them in PE.
Perhaps a day in future after some contributions but it seems really heavy for a PE.
Fortunately we have PENetwork that does the job very well

« on: September 22, 2017, 01:56:38 PM »
The building should work on most UEFI (by using same Arch +Fat32 usb format) or Legacy Bioses computers without changing anything except only the boot order.
It can depend on the tool used to create your USB stick, disk. For example, the good rufus does not allow the double UEFI/Bios boot, saddly.
You can try with 1 of the 2 "Copy to USB-Device" plugin or with USB7Ice. It should work, normally.

I have made progress on your first question, to display the Network tray icon.
It was not very far, I made some little adjustments  for the netprofm service to work and to get the pnidui Icon.
To start the service (not done, see below), we need to use: SystemSetupInProgress=0 > net start netprofm > SystemSetupInProgress=1.

However, we need PENetwork to view the WiFi hotspot. The "modern" network and internet settings apps does not work in PE.
I personally prefer the PENetwork's animated icon. It seems better also for loading the right network adapter and with in bonus, the penetwork profile.

For these, the network service and dependencies are not used by default but remains available with an option behind the advanced button. Then it is up to you to start the netprofm service in autorun.cmd or probably better, in Penetwork_after.cmd.
The Network plugin is on server.

I saw that you are in contact with Gandalf. I hope he will give(write) credit to Win10PE SE, as it should, for its next 15063 build. Following my latest release
It seems there is room for ready-made compilations, ISO (legal, hmm) like his own or Kyhi and others. For those who do not have the time to learn and build themselves.
However, I'm not sure they are really optimized with the size of boot.wim (all apps in Ram, Firefox+chrome for kyhi and other duplicates, driversss) even if recent computers have sufficient RAM. But well, users seems satisfied.
I'm not a grumpy and I have nothing against them but the thing that disturbs me, are all the thanks given as if the whole building was made by them alone. And above all, Gandalf as Kyhi receive them without saying more!!!
What would it be without the original project! The credit for the compilation, all tests done, the support is not enough!! I let them to think about that.
