Win7PE SE HomePage / Re: Task Scheduler Plugin

after_net is meant to run all after the network is initialized. This is, the Scheduler should be started after the network.

Win7PE SE HomePage / Task Scheduler Plugin

Here I want to share my script to enable the Task Scheduler on Win7PE. It requires .Net Full for the .msc to work, also I think it would not work without my other script for the Event Logger.

Win7PE SE HomePage / Automatic services not starting?
« on: July 03, 2017, 06:35:20 AM »
Hi,

I am trying to configure in my build a service to start automatic on startup with NSSM. Unfortunately, this does not work for me, and I dont know why.

The service seems to start fine and log a hello world into the file system when I start it manually. But after booting, it is not automatically started.

I have been paying attention and I have seen some other service that happen the same like WLAN AutoConfig, or Server, or Power.

It is logging in with Local System account

Why can this be?

I am trying to achieve the same thing. And I am facing the same problems (Windows stuck in normal mode, and problems with drive letters)

What I tried:

a) Changing all the Windows registry from the result Hive, from X: to C:. This does not work, I get an error "interactive login process initialisation has failed". I dont know why.

b) Change all the scripts from Win10PESE from X: to C:. Still mapped to X: (probably the install.wim and so on, are already mapped to X: right?)

Win10PE SE HomePage / Create a virtual hard drive instead of an ISO
« on: February 13, 2017, 04:59:21 AM »
Hi,

I have seen Win10PESE has support to create a virtual machine already configured, but it is still booting from an ISO file. Instead, I would like to boot from just a virtual hard drive, so I can make modifications, and install some stuff in the machine.

I have not found a simple way to transform an ISO file, into, lets say a vmdk file. What is the best approach for this?

Thanks!
