This is an addon to the Notepad2 script (based on 9/11/15 build. I have not started with 10/14 build yet )

Place this in Components, so it runs immediately after the Notepad2 script. It allows you to easily add your own Settings INI, without having to unzip, store, and rezip the Notepad2 source files.  Run Notpad2, adjust screen position, fonts, whatever, etc. Then use the Notepad2 SAVE NOW settings. The current settings get stored in Notepad2.ini, but you lose the new settings because Notepad2 runs from X:

There is an optional startmenu item to save your current Notepad2.ini to the root of your usbstick (Y:\).  Place this in the Attachments folder.

Hi Tony4219,

added "Add Personal Notepad2.ini" option to Notepad plugin,
on servers..

Tip:
After boot, on cmd screen:
Code: [Select]
Explorer.exe %AppData%

will get you Notepad2.ini location ;)

+
I believe now anyone can easily use personal Notepad2.ini ;)

Kewl!  I didn't want to change the original, and needed a way to save new INI files.

Thanks!

Hi Lancelot,

Wondering if you could incorporate this add to the project.
Small add and I know you put a way to use custom notepad2.ini.

(Added No Warn for opening large file size)

Thanks

Added new plugin to server with your "No Warn for opening large file size"

ps:
fixed line position and wrong line
If,%pCheckBoxNo_WarningIniWrite%,Equal,True,%,Equal,True,Begin
is incorrect syntax........
reorganize checkbox name etc.

Tip:
just click yellow "Compare" button at v44 of Notepad2 plugin, you will see changes made

I found out recent version (v45) of notepad plugin contains bug.
It tries to call PCopy_notepadexeMui section which does not exist.

Code: [Select]
If,%TargetWin_CheckBox%,Equal,True,Begin
If,Not,ExistFile,%Target_Win%\notepad.exe,Begin
If,%OSFamily%,Equal,NT6,Run,%ScriptFile%,PCopy_notepadexeMui
If,%OSFamily%,Equal,NT6,Call,FileCopyMUI-Source,%Source_Sys%\notepad.exe,%Target_Win%
If,%OSFamily%,Equal,NT5,CopyOrExpand,%Source_Sys%\notepad.exe,%Target_Win%
End
End

As a result, it emittes error.
This line should be removed or PCopy_notepadexeMui section must be implemented.

(I tried removing that line, and it works well, however)

Following a previous change: Call,FileCopyMUI-Source
It seems, call PCopy_notepadexeMui was forgotten to be removed.
It is done now.
You have good eyes, thanks
