Hello,

I tried version 2015-12-11 and have a problem.
The taskbar hides (with some transparence) all the bottom lines of all  other maximized applications.
Example: with Total Commander, the taskbar hides the Total commander command line and the bottom line
with label F3, D4, F5, F6, F7, F8, Alt-F4 function keys. So it is barely usable. I tried with 1024x768 or 1366x768 with same result.

Is it a known problem, or is there a solution? Thank you.

I found that this problem is caused by Locking the Taskbar. When I unlock the taskbar Maximized windows do not go behind the taskbar and the taskbar adjusts to a changed screen resolution. :)

Code: [Select]
To Unlock the taskbar:

Reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced /v TaskbarSizeMove /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

To lock the taskbar:

Reg add HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced /v TaskbarSizeMove /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Hope this helps, :)

Cant seem to edit my previous post. However may I stand corrected. I did find that after explorer starts and desktop shows and I then kill/start explorer the taskbar shows and behaves correctly (weather taskbar is locked or not) and taskbar adapts to screen resolutions changes. I am trying to figure this out as well.

Well after playing around with enough things I came to the conclusion that by changing from StartIsBack++ to Start10 the Taskbar is behaveing correctly. At least in my case.

Thank you for your findings. Effectively changing from StartIsBack++ to Start10 corrects the problem for me too.

I think the problem is caused by my FixScreen tool.

Here is a new version that hopefully work with all startmenu replacements * FixScreen.zip (3.75 kB - downloaded 96 times.)

Replace it in system32 folder and rebuild the wim&iso in postconfig.

@JFX

I tried Win10PE SE x64 build with your appropriate FixScreen, and with StartIsBack++, the problem is now fixed
