Hello my friends, it's a pleasure to see(read) you
I do not know if 15063 brings more but at least the project is now compatible with all official Win10 ISOs 10240 -> 15063, Ltsb included.
I was late, upcoming windows release must be already well advanced.

Hi ChrisR,

Welcome back.

But no promise on my future participation on forum, plugin to update... depending on my mood

Keep your mood good.  :great:
Now we spend quite less time (compared to the past) to support forum, projects, plugins...
After achieving such hard goal spending small hobby free time continuously to support pe projects, try to keep your mood high.
( no projects from old days I know could. )
ps:
When your mood get low, let us know. we all vanish time to time and come back around.
But since you did not post anything around for a while, people naturally start to think things like this :
Well, the Win10PESE project itself also Died.
..
Shortly:
Keep your mood good.  :great:
And let us know when you take a break.

*****

So far Win10PESE 15063 builds and works fine here.  :great:

I do not know if 15063 brings more

At least I know,
Support ReFS v3.2

Hi Lancelot,
The road, as life is long and winding, i have to drive slowly between the storms not to came out of the road.
Well, the road has already been very long and it is difficult to maintain motivation with the lack of time in a free project.
The next Win10 refresh ISO should probably arrive soon, I will see according to my free times, my desires and the atmosphere.

*
just something to share:
I noticed ff not work yesterday on Gena somewhere at night I guess,
did update on ff plugins yesterday on my pc,
could only upload gena side today afternoon,
could update SE tonight before sleep and post ff topic.

Above is quite fast with very limited time.
( ~2 days only for ff, In good old days it would be much faster to notice fix update in a day I guess ...  )

Slowly slowly, and mostly slower than above.
I hope on your road, you always find more or less time to be around.

It's been a while now, Hello All :hi:
I can not forget WinPE(SE), projects, people met, all the time spent and job done.
But no promise on my future participation on forum, plugin to update... depending on my mood
Thanks Lancelot, JFX and All others for all updates, desktop.ini, autorotation, qEmuX, GWT, StateRepository service in 15063,...  :good:

I did some updates on the server last night
To support Win 10 1703 creator Update (build 15063). Already!!! it's time  :w00t:
And to update some plugins apps and other tools.
Let me, us know for the successes, contributions, improvements to do, problems encountered.

(Attachment Link)

It's probably time to make a new package !!!

Well, still about BitLocker feature.
If I enabled full BitLocker feature without enable Administrator account - I mean, BitLocker Unlock Interface on SYSTEM account, I can only use BitLocker feature via manage-bde commandline.
If I enabled Administrator, the BitLocker GUI works well.
However, I tried another tool (Not based on WinBuilder) in China, the BitLocker GUI works well on SYSTEM account.

So how could I fix this? I don't want to enable Administrator on my build. You can test it out with Windows 10 (From 1507 to 1703), Chinese (Simplified) installation image, load the build in a virtual machine, then attach a BitLocker Encrypted USB drive to it.

It seems to work here with the Lite version (sufficient for PE), if I remove or rename the key :
Code: [Select]
HKLM\Software\Classes\Drive\shell\unlock-bde,AppliesTo

AppliesTo,"System.Volume.BitLockerProtection:=6" does not seem to work well.

In BitLocker plugin, can you try by adding:
Code: [Select]
RegHiveLoad,Tmp_Software,%RegSoftware%
If,ExistRegKey,HKLM,Tmp_Software\Classes\Drive\shell\unlock-bde,AppliesTo,Begin
//Uncomment the next 2 lines to rename
//RegRead,HKLM,Tmp_Software\Classes\Drive\shell\unlock-bde,AppliesTo,%AppliesTo%
//RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_Software\Classes\Drive\shell\unlock-bde,AppliesToSAV,%AppliesTo%
RegDelete,HKLM,Tmp_Software\Classes\Drive\shell\unlock-bde,AppliesTo
End
RegHiveUnLoad,Tmp_Software

Is it OK for you too with your USB, without this key ?

Yeah, it works, but I didn't see the BitLocker Encrypted icon on the drive.

I attached screenshots below. The first screenshot is from the Win10PE build by Win10PESE, the second screenshot is from the Win10PE build by another tool.

BTW, the drive that's not encrypted can't be opened by double-click on Win10PESE build, but can be opened by right-click.
So, I think the problem is the Win10PESE build on SYSTEM account can't recognize BitLocker encrypted drive correctly.

For the BitLocker Encrypted icon on the drive, add the ShellHWDetection Service
Code: [Select]
RegHiveLoad,Tmp_System,%RegSystem%
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,DisplayName,"@#$pSystemRoot#$p\System32\shsvcs.dll,-12288"
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,ErrorControl,0
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,Group,ShellSvcGroup
RegWrite,HKLM,0x2,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,ImagePath,"#$pSystemRoot#$p\System32\svchost.exe -k netsvcs"
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,Start,2
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,Type,32
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,Description,"@#$pSystemRoot#$p\System32\shsvcs.dll,-12289"
RegWrite,HKLM,0x7,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,DependOnService,RpcSs
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,ObjectName,LocalSystem
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,ServiceSidType,1
RegWrite,HKLM,0x7,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,RequiredPrivileges,SeImpersonatePrivilege
RegWrite,HKLM,0x3,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection,FailureActions,80,51,01,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,03,00,00,00,14,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,60,ea,00,00,01,00,00,00,60,ea,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00
RegWrite,HKLM,0x4,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection\Parameters,ServiceDllUnloadOnStop,1
RegWrite,HKLM,0x1,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection\Parameters,ServiceMain,HardwareDetectionServiceMain
RegWrite,HKLM,0x2,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Services\ShellHWDetection\Parameters,ServiceDll,#$pSystemRoot#$p\System32\shsvcs.dll
RegHiveUnLoad,Tmp_System

However, there is something wrong with:
Code: [Select]
HKLM\Software\Classes\Drive\shell\unlock-bde,AppliesTo,System.Volume.BitLockerProtection:=6
I do not know what, as shown by the "Unknown" status on screenshot
To bypass for now , we need to remove the "AppliesTo" key as before.

Problem solved.
I also imported BDESVC and CRYPTSVC service by using registry editor. I also restored AppliesTo,"System.Volume.BitLockerProtection:=6".

Great, nice collaboration  :great:
I will update the plugin with the 3 services, I guess for %OS%=Win10, even if the are not really required for 10240.

Hi Hikari Calyx
hum, I answered too fast with closed eyes.
The Cryptsvc service is already in original boot.wim and the Bitlocker service BDESVC is of course already in the plugin.
I'm here like in my last test, ShellHWDetection Service added, I need to rename/remove the AppliesTo keys, the System.Volume.BitLockerProtection remains unknow.
Can you check if it really works for you by keeping this key. I am with a basic build and you must have additional things.

I'm pretty sure it really works. I also tried to double-click drives that aren't encrypted, it works well.
I found the difference between basic build and modified build.

In Modified Build:
Code: [Select]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\CryptSvc\Security]
"Security"=hex:01,00,04,80,a0,00,00,00,ac,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,14,00,00,00,02,\
  00,8c,00,06,00,00,00,00,00,14,00,fd,01,02,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,12,00,\
  00,00,00,00,18,00,ff,01,0f,00,01,02,00,00,00,00,00,05,20,00,00,00,20,02,00,\
  00,00,00,14,00,8d,01,02,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,04,00,00,00,00,00,14,00,\
  8d,01,02,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,06,00,00,00,00,00,18,00,fd,01,02,00,01,\
  02,00,00,00,00,00,05,20,00,00,00,25,02,00,00,00,00,18,00,8d,00,02,00,01,02,\
  00,00,00,00,00,0f,02,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,12,00,00,\

In basic build:
Code: [Select]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\CryptSvc\Security]
"Security"=hex:01,00,04,80,d8,00,00,00,e4,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,14,00,00,00,02,\
  00,c4,00,07,00,00,00,00,00,14,00,fd,01,02,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,12,00,\
  00,00,00,00,18,00,ff,01,0f,00,01,02,00,00,00,00,00,05,20,00,00,00,20,02,00,\
  00,00,00,14,00,8d,01,02,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,04,00,00,00,00,00,14,00,\
  8d,01,02,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,06,00,00,00,00,00,18,00,fd,01,02,00,01,\
  02,00,00,00,00,00,05,20,00,00,00,25,02,00,00,00,00,18,00,8d,00,02,00,01,02,\
  00,00,00,00,00,0f,02,00,00,00,01,00,00,00,00,00,38,00,8d,00,02,00,01,0a,00,\
  00,00,00,00,0f,03,00,00,00,00,04,00,00,85,43,ef,be,88,67,63,7e,4d,7a,39,ab,\
  de,fa,60,72,9f,f6,9f,a8,57,72,db,fe,9e,1c,a3,2d,96,ba,04,a4,01,01,00,00,00,\
  00,00,05,12,00,00,00,01,01,00,00,00,00,00,05,12,00,00,00

So the problem must be there.
I didn't test if BitLocker Decryption GUI still work in Administrator account, but please make the modification I gave above first.

I do not have it, with your cryptsvc Security key or with the original one. Same result.
@JFX profsvc is include in the basic building and also in Bitlocker plugin. It is running.
By cons, appinfo service need now appinfoext.dll to start since 15063. but sadly, it is not enough for the BitLockerProtection status

I just try with a standard build with the default selection and Indeed, Bitlocker works
Without the need to touch at the AppliesTo key.
Thanks Hikari

Now, when I find timeeee, I need to see why it is not the same in a basic build.
By doing it step by step, without rush.
