I generated a Win10PESE ISO and put it with Rufus onto an USB flash drive.

When I boot from this computer and press F8 during boot process to get the BootManager I got a selection of possible boot sources.
I selected the USB flash drive with Win10PESE and hit RETURN

Immediately afterwards another boot message appears:

"Press any key to boot from BootCD"

This is strange. I just told the computer to boot from the USB flash drive.
Why am I asked again?

Anyway: is there a way to avoid this second prompt?

The Win10PESE boot process from USB flash drive should start immediately.

To be sure, which environment (BIOS, UEFI) and architecture (x86, x64) are you using?

Those messages are intended for use with CD/DVD in BIOS mode, not USB stick.

It seems you flashed full ISO into USB using Rufus.
Instead, try using WriteMedia\Copy to USB-Device BCD BootMGR instead.
I guess it will fix your problem.

just delete the file bootfix.bin from the USB drive.
