I am trying to append the last line to add another program with out disturbing the rest of the entries.
Something like
Code: [Select]
Call,RegMultiSZ,Append,Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318},UpperFilters,PartMgr,fltsrv
This is the line in question.
Code: [Select]
RegWrite,HKLM,0x2,"Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment",Path,"#$pSystemRoot#$p\system32;#$pSystemRoot#$p;;#$qx:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery#$q;#$qx:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\UniversalRestore#$q;;x:\Program Files\AOMEI\Backupper"
This is what needed to be add
x:\Program Files\AOMEI\Backupper

Thanks for any help    :scooter:

Hi Prz42,

I do not think AOMEI Backupper need such thing, even if it exists in its setup....

I believe, you follow AOMEI Backupper setup (RegShot) and try to reproduce,
I advice NOT to include.

Adding Path to Environment Variables is for General program usages (ex: Java) and mostly for programmers (Java, C++ ....) and special cases......

I am sure programmers of AOMEI Backupper only forgot it at setup during code writing

Increasing number of Environment Variables always cause Windows slow down.... ===> so do not add if not required.

Still, If required,
check 'Project Medicine' plugin [SysWow64Path] section

SE\Build\'Project Medicine'
Gena\Basic\'Project Medicine'

and reminding, do NOT add if you do not have a real life , real practice reason.

You are correct as usual, it is only in full version and not
their PE version. i knew you would have the correct answer.
Thanks for your help.    :scooter:

P.S. wasn't able to make it work for Acronis Backup & Recovery
Code: [Select]
Call,RegMultiSZ,Append,"Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment",Path,%ProgramPath%
Call,RegMultiSZ,Append,"Tmp_System\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager\Environment",Path,%ProgramPath%\UniversalRestore
I think it needs to be in REG_EXPAND_SZ format :scooter:
