I see that this is explained in the comment section of the Direct X Plugin but the syntax of the current fix doesn't appear to be working.  Error still persists with 1709 source.  It can be ignored but maybe IfExist instead? I should've put this in the 1709 build thread, rather than a new thread, but cannot delete.

Line 343 in DirectX 11 plugin:
Code: [Select]
If,Not,%Win10_1703%,Equal,Bigger,Require_FileQ,dispci.dll

Maybe?:
Code: [Select]
If,Exist,%Source_Win%\dispci.dll,Require_FileQ,dispci.dll

I updated DirectX 11 plugin.
and I silently updated the package, without changing the date.

Plugin is not working correctly, DX11 Diag attempts to open and then crashes.. I didn't find anything notable with Procmon. This is with 16299.15 source

I think its possibly my build.  APT reports working correctly in his.. Running basic build...will report here - updated error pic.

This is same issue MB3 has...

After testing confirmed

Apps>Supplementary>MultiMedia>Media Player Classic-HC plugin breaks Components>Direct X 11 plugin in Win10PESE - (Same error is produced for Malwarebytes 3 test plugin, however removing Media player plugin does not allow malwarebytes to run,  maybe related type of issue maybe not...??)

EDIT: There is something else that is causing an issue as well.. more testing..

I'm still looking to see if I can find out why but this is where the issue I was referencing is...

So, procmon does not show you, that dxdiag.exe tries to find a CompPkgSup.dll right before it crashes?

You are awesome that was it...I most definately missed that.. Thank you JFX again!  No wonder why I was getting weird results testing sometimes it would work sometimes it would not.

Only thing consistent was removing media player, then once I put the rest my plugins back in :embarrassed: it was erroring out again with media player gone...So I came to update the post to avoid confusion...

Was above Werfault and coremessaging.dll going through NAME NOT FOUND results but missed that one...

Thanks JFX,

Just updated plugin to server, trying to follow DirectX 11 plugin adjustments.

bob.omb, test latest plugin on server.
+
tip: Procmon plugin provides some ready filters to catch things easily.
+
ps:
If you are interested,
Let me know how to add
Code: [Select]
X:\Windows\*
to procmon filters.

Lance you got them mixed up from my explanation...

It does not require Coremessaging.dll

Per JFX Required File: CompPkgSup.dll <----

Thanks for procmon advice makes things a lot easier..
