Hi everyone,
First, i'm new on this forum and it's very cool and interesting. Congratulations to everyone who helps this project to grow up (WinX PE SE). I currently work on the Win 10 PE SE project and I succesfully build it.

I have some questions about it, and I haven't find any answer on net or in this forum : What winbuilder does ? In other words, I want to understand how I can do the same with MDT (for example) or other executables. My real question is : how I can turn "normal" installer windows ISO into a live read only functionnal system ?

In addition, I'm trying to add Office software to Win 10 PE SE in order to do a fully operationnal live portable workstation. I've tried with a sysprep capture, with simply copying files and register into the build, install after boot (I know it's ephemeral) but nothing works.

I hope someone has some time to answer me.

Bye !

It is an OLD (more than 7 years now), unsupported, development ended batch application we use for today to build projects.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batch_file
These days most known popular batch application on internet is cmd.exe

ps:
a replacement to winbuilder is under construction with PEBakery by ied206

up to your Windows ISO, use one of projects here: Gena, Win7PESE, Win8PESE, Win8.1SE, Win10PESE

It is better use normal windows as "live portable workstation"
PE is more a rescue environment. Many things will not work as you would expect from a workstation.
(ex: Office you tried to)
