Of course it's possible to add a GUI back to a core OS.

But we create here advanced WinPE not a franken OS.
So If you want to create something like this, don't expect much help.

In general it less work to slim down and OS than to build up a core version.

Hey and thx for the fast reply
pls consider those points:

Windows core is well adjust and tested OS, MS made many tests with this OS and adjust it to for best performance  and stability
slimming down  is quiet good but its not near as Core OS in those areas

Windows 10 RS3 GUI have many problems and also the resources used too much, on startup around 25k handles used
while PE 10k tops

The amount of time needed to make a good tweaked Windows 10 is began to move non-sense  area .
they are so many tweaks in windows for simple things that at the first place should be default will make windows 10 liting waste of time

for waiting the best solution, you can just run 'winxshell.exe' for insteading.

http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=2090.0

follow the instruction on #3 (Is there a option for File Explorer?)

add 2 dll(extract from the same 2016 ISO's install.wim) and merge a reg file , than you can also get a file explorer without reboot.

I tryed on windows server 2016 standard(no GUI), the wallpaper cann't be displayed, the others are worked in good.
