Hi,
I know I can cheat a bit by embedding the keys/values of some executable plugins into the registry but would like to know if I can build a stand alone plugin so I can add multiple entries into the registry.
Thanks.

Use
Utils\PC Packed ( Plugin Creator Packed ) to start creating a plugin.

Edit Plugin, you will notice relevant line where to start registry and info about tool to use ......

Thanks @Lancelot
Yes, PC Packed is my favorite plugin and I use it a lot.
And yes I did use it to create and empty plugin. My problem was nothing wrong with the plugin but the plugin was named with space and WinBuilder did not like it. Remove space from plugin name and it did appear on the left pane.

While I am here, I know you are the author of the Cmd_Adds plugin. How do I remove the icon from the desktop since I've already have it on the taskbar ?
Thanks in advance !!!

Edit Lancelot: terminology fix

I do not know such winbuilder bug yet.
Can you provide plugin with space that do not appear on left pane.

"CMD Adds" plugin do not have any feature to add cmd to taskbar or desktop.

Still, There is Info button available on "CMD Adds" plugin to provide required info you asked.

Sorry, My mistake. Actually, I deleted the "level=5" and the script was put in another folder with same name as shown in the screen shot. Strange huh ?

Yes, I also found 2-config to get rid of the desktop icon.

I have not played with WinBuilder for a while and forgot some of the basic things. Just setup WinBuilder again in another PC with the latest 1709.15 ISO and have some hard time with "Extract Wim Folder" plugin, keep on failing, not sure what I did wrong. I had to manually extract boot.wim & install.win using DISM.

Thanks for all the help. Much appreciated !!!

Strange huh ?
not Strage, it is normal behavior of builder, same also with PEBakery.

*
That is the reason I provide PC Packed to create plugins, which provides all options.
Deleting any of them , end user responsible from result.

"Extract Wim Folder" plugin works fine here for a long while now.

Tip:
When you extract Win10 Source manually,
If you extract to sub folders \install_wim\1\ and \winre_wim\N\
ex:
D:\S\Win10_x64 source folder:
Extracted Folders
D:\S\Win10_x64\sources\install_wim\1
D:\S\Win10_x64\sources\winre_wim\N

==>
Project will automatically use extracted folders.

Undestood. Here's what caused the problem: When I extract the WINPESE.zip, the root folder is WINPESE. Apparently it's too long and caused the DotNet to fail so I renamed it as W10PE. However, when I used the plugin to extract .wim, it failed and still remember the old WINPESE as the root folder even though I did make the changes in Config source, Main Configuration and in Images Configuration.

Anyway, got it all sorted now. Thank you much.

Well that is the reason on all instruction it is written to use
D:\Oven
as base folder

+
and all projects works under same base folder.

I prefer to use FinalsY>Additional Registry if I am only adding keys and not actually installing software - You will not need RegLoadHive OR RegUnloadHive inside this plugin, only the keys themselves.

For me its easier to save space in AppsMy for actual plugins(it can get disorganized otherwise), and additional registry runs at the end of building which ensures your keys will not be overwritten by another application.
