Run into an issue progressing with build.

CD Y: is not mounting correctly.  It is mounting the recovery partition of disk 0 (C: local disk) during boot for some reason.  Shortcuts do not display correctly, but clicking them actually opens the correct program  thats the weird part.  I am stuck

This appears to be the issue I was having Lance.. Opened this new thread to identify and not mix with other build issues.  I cannot pinpoint but CD Drive X: Y: plugin has been restored back to normal from attempts to move programs folder.  Have you seen this behavior before? There must be something I missed. I have been retracing my steps with no luck yet.

Is it possible changing project folder name while having junction Y: plugin set without removing junction could cause issue with build?

Hi bob.omb

"CdDrive - X: - Y:" plugin have its own topic.
http://theoven.org/index.php?topic=346

Shortcuts do not display correctly, but clicking them actually opens the correct program
Windows have auto fix feature to fix shortcuts.
I guess Windows found same path on another drive and fix shortcut.

Before clicking shortcuts, right click them and see "Properties"
After clicking shortcuts,  right click them and see "Properties"
See if things changed ?

Project do not use junction.
I could not understand question.

*
It is mounting the recovery partition of disk 0 (C: local disk) during boot for some reason.
It should not.
CdDrive - X: - Y: designed to find a FlagFile on root of a drive,
and remount to Y:

take a screen shot of Y: showing files inside.

I believe you are testing with default build from server ?

And I guess you are booting from usb flash disk using one of "Copy to USB-Device" plugin ?

*
It is same plugin since ChrisR updated 2017.01.27 and this is the first issue after that.

I do not know that plugin well, it is all ChrisR and JFX work.

Edit:
To clarify: plugin ported by me to support JFX Multi7PESE 8 - 9 years ago,
later rest developed under ChrisR and JFX hands.

Happy New Year :xmas-beer:

I also noticed for Y: Drive. It is correctly mounted by MountPEMedia.
But then, the new Letterswap change it back to the original drive's letter.
On my side, I came back to the previous version without looking at the au3 program or cmdline "/auto /Log %temp%\LSLog.txt"

If you had tested with "Basic Project" plugin
http://TheOven.org/index.php?topic=1876.0

you would not need to wipe...

*
Since you test a lot and very familiar with all related things a lot,
you will like advanced options at "Basic Project" plugin.

*
As you may notice, I only try to catch PEBakery very slowly with limited time.
For Today, I am sick (Flu) at home and only doing some tests and updates....
Overall, I will follow feedbacks.
ex: LetterSwap plugin now Default False on server

Don't we need this to have Y: ??  I am using the old version chris posted instead of turning it off because I want to make sure Y: loads properly...  Should I turn off instead?

(That sucks, hope feel better)

Hi bob.omb

Letter Swap very useful utility & plugin well written by Nikzzzz

but not related to "CdDrive - X: - Y:" plugin

*
Practice "Basic Project" plugin
It will gain you very big development time.  :great:
+
Do you use SSD drive or normal drive to build projects ?

*
( Yes last 4 hours I am much better now.... )

Plugin update fixed the issue.  Thanks guys.

EDIT:

Lancelot,

Yes I use SSD but even with it still seems junction helps shave off a few minutes..(3-5min) and I do use basic build sometimes but probably not as much as I should.. :embarrassed:
