I am going to beat a dead horse a bit here. I have been using win10xpe since 2021 ... way back then, I asked for help creating desktop icons for some custom batch files I created for windows deployment. batch file as part of build
I have a batch file an icon that works if you manually insert it on to a usb build. I would like to make the batch file part of the build and put the icon on the desktop to access the batch file. How can I do that?

Thank you for the reply. I have looked at this before, but like "lifeline", I am not sure where this information is added. I think pdcmd.ini ... is this correct?

Ok, I give. Have looked at so many post my eyes are going cross.
All I am trying to do is: 1. Add an icon to the desktop and 2. execute a bat file behind the icon. Since this is not a exe, I don't think it can be a plug-in, but I have not found any way to accomplish this.
Please help ....
